There are several new restaurants opening in Frisco. They are part of the Shoppes at Eldorado, a new retail development located at Legacy Drive and Eldorado Parkway in Frisco, Texas. 

One of the new shops is Crumbl Cookies, a fresh-baked cookie shop with dramatic and unique menu changes each week. Some of their most iconic cookies include chocolate oreo, peppermint bark, cornbread, Reese’s Cup, and more!

Crumbl Cookies was founded in 2017, but the franchise has grown in popularity over recent years because of their success on TikTok. People filmed videos reviewing their weekly flavors, and this trend gave Crumbl a much larger audience, allowing them to expand their franchise. The first Crumbl store was created in Utah, and since then, new locations have opened in Nevada, Montana, North Carolina, Oregon, Colorado, Idaho, Tennessee, Arizona, Texas, Colorado, Washington, and Massachusetts.

“I drive past the development everyday, and I’m excited for a Crumbl Cookies to open in Frisco because they have really interesting flavors,” junior Amber Malorzo said.

The Halal Guys, an international restaurant chain, is also opening in the development. The franchise was born from a halal cart on the streets of New York City. Some of their best known menu items are their chicken, gyros, and falafel platters.

“We have Mediterranean cuisine and it is all halal, so everything is certified. The regular combo platter is my favorite menu item and our most popular item as well,” a manager at the Frisco location said.

In addition, Pie Tap Pizza is opening a new location. This franchise is known for its incredible food made in-house with the best clean ingredients.

“Even though the menu has a lot to offer, I always chose the garlic knots to go with anything,” senior Jessie Comings said.

Several shops in this plaza have recently opened, and the rest will soon follow.
