The combination of cool ice and delicious flavors makes the best summer treat and the perfect way to cool down, but The Snow Cone Lady couldn’t keep up with its giant influx of customers and they ran out of ice four days ago, according to the Frisco Snow Cone Lady Facebook page.

Nevertheless, The Snow Cone Lady, a Frisco summer staple,  announced that they may open back up on Monday or Tuesday for a couple of hours before they close for the summer. 

The opening of The Snow Cone Lady almost did not happen this year due to injury and retirement contemplation. However, fans were excited for the reopening and The Snow Cone Lady provided snow cones to Frisco locals and helped them escape the blazing heat. 

“One of the first things I heard about when I moved to Frisco was [about] The Snow Cone lady, and I didn’t know who that was [or] what a special part she is of our community,” said Jennifer Esquanazi, a Frisco local. 

As time went on, The Snow Cone Lady continued to spread joy throughout the Frisco community with amazing snow cones and a sweet personality. 

With special flavors such as Frisco Favorite, Honeymooners Delight, and Bahama Mama, the snow cone lady herself, Mary Sanchez, creates a unique atmosphere and exciting taste sensation for customers. 

“They have really good flavors and their ice is the perfect amount of crunch,” said Audrey Chapin, a frequent customer.
