The newly opened Black Rock Coffee chain offers an experience that goes beyond just grabbing a cup of coffee. The moment you step inside, you’re greeted by the welcoming smell of freshly brewed coffee, within a trendy, industrial-modern environment that feels both cool and cozy. The decor follows a sleek, minimalist design, featuring local artwork, including a Texas-themed mural that gives it a regional touch.

As for the coffee itself, Black Rock has a wide-ranging menu. Whether you are a fan of classic espresso drinks or craving something different, like their signature Fuel energy beverages, the menu caters to every taste. 

We tried a classic iced vanilla latte with oat milk and one of their energy drinks. Both exceeded our expectations and we will definitely be returning. One concern that we had was the price of the coffee. Their medium vanilla iced latte $7, which included an upcharge for the oat milk. The energy drink we tried was from their secret menu that we found online called feels like summer, and it was $6 for a medium. We thought it was very similar to Dutch Bros rebel energy drinks, but better. Black Rock has endless amounts of syrups and are very open to accommodations but the one downside is the cost. 

The service at Black Rock is quick yet personal, and they take time to make sure your drink is just right. They also have a loyalty program, making it easy for regulars to benefit from frequent visits.

In short, Black Rock Coffee is a must-visit for coffee or energy drink enthusiasts. Its blend of excellent coffee, friendly service, and community-centered environment sets it apart as more than just another coffee chain. It’s quickly becoming one of our local favorites.
