If you are looking for a fun winter activity, a great option is ice skating at Frisco Square. The square offers a festive atmosphere with plenty of food and drink options to enjoy. It is the perfect spot for a winter outing with friends or family.
Skating admission is $20 per person, which includes skate rentals, and allows for an hour of skating. The rink is small, compared to a regulation rink. While the ice started off pretty smooth, the large number of people skating, causes it to get rough and bumpy pretty quickly. This was not a dealbreaker by any means, but it is something to keep in mind if you are aiming for perfect ice conditions.
The best part was the location. Right next to restaurants and cafes made it super easy to grab a warm drink or bite to eat after skating to thaw out. The entire area has great energy, and it was nice to be able to walk around, grab a hot chocolate, or sit down for a meal afterward.
Overall, Frisco Square ice skating is a fun and affordable way to enjoy a winter day with plenty to do before and after you hit the ice.
