Bringing the small town field to the fastest growing city in the nation, Scott Hoffner the owner of DiDi’s Downtown opens a new home away from home with his creperie, Lottie Bird’s.
Spurring off from his main business Didi’s Downtown Hoffner opened Lottie Bird’s on January 2nd less than a mile away where he sells Crepes ice cream Bagels coffee and more we have only we started working here January 3rd,” said Brooke DeVille. “Because we’ve only been open for about two and a half weeks.”
Family is an anchor for Hoffner’s inspiration, naming both his businesses after close family members. Just as DiDi’s downtown has become a staple for many Frisco locals, critics are saying that Lottie Bird’s will quickly follow in its footsteps.
“The owner’s goal for where this business is going to go is he wants us to end up becoming a franchise, and so he’s looking at having us open uh three stores in total within the next 2 years,” said DeVille.
The support of The Frisco locals who come time and time again has allowed for the doors of Scott’s restaurant to stay open through trials and tribulations, like the recent snow storms.
I decided to work in this establishment because I’ve worked with the owner Scott Hoffner for the past year and a half and I graduated with a uh culinary arts degree in pastry and he told me he was looking at opening a great place and specifically wanted me to do the pastries and I said all right.”
Lottie Birds is located at 8981 2nd St, Frisco, TX 75034.
