You may have seen the viral Dubai chocolate-covered strawberries across various social media platforms, including Instagram and TikTok. We decided to find a local version for those looking to try this tasty treat.

Big Dash is a local bakery known for their stretchy ice cream and pastries, but they also offer the internet-famous chocolate strawberries. They are located about a 10 minute drive from Wakeland, and when we visited, they had a long line inside. However, they also offer a mobile service that allows you to order beforehand to avoid the line. If you decide to wait in the line, they have glass windows that allow you to watch the staff making the pastries, which really helps immerse you in the experience. We ended up waiting to order for about eight minutes.

When we got to the register, the employee was very helpful, and she accurately guessed that we were there for the viral Dubai chocolate. The total for one cup of the Dubai chocolate strawberries was $17.31, which we thought was overpriced. We did end up splitting the cost between two people, which made the price more reasonable, and the portion ended up being large enough for two people.

The wait to get the strawberries was very quick compared to the wait to order. We were overwhelmed by the delicious combination of flavors. We ultimately thought that the chocolate strawberries were worth the hype, even though they can be pricey, and we recommend sharing a cup with a friend to offset the cost. Hopefully we will be able to return to Big Dash at some point because we will surely be craving these again!
