As the class of 2026 embarks on senior year, their schedules are full of events to commemorate their senior year. Organized by this year’s senior lead and committee parents, there is an event for everybody.
“When you have almost 600 kids in your class, it can make it hard to get to know everyone,” said Co Lead Senior Parent Holly Landry. “With the senior events, you have them all in one place having fun together and it is a wonderful opportunity to get to know people you might not have met before. By the time graduation comes, they really come together as a class with memories that last a lifetime from all the fun they have shared together all year.”
Two events have already taken place, Senior Sunrise and Back to School Bash. On August 12th, seniors gathered around the day before school to watch the sunrise.
“I enjoyed the social aspect most from the senior sunrise event,” said senior Scarlett Whitsell. “My favorite part was getting to see and talk to my friends.”
To conclude the first week of senior year, students also celebrated on August 17th at the Back to School Bash, hosted at the Frisco Rail Yard.
“I loved that the Back to School Bash had so many of my friends and things to do,” said senior Timothy Hoyt. “The raffle was my favorite part because it happened over the whole event and also it was quite exciting to hear the names that were drawn. I didn’t win anything but I would do it all again.”
Posted below are dates for the remaining senior year events.
