Bonjour, Emily!

By Netflix

Welcome to Paris! – Join Emily on her adventures through love and friendship by watching Emily in Paris on Netflix.

From Sex and the City to the streets of Paris, France, American writer, director, and producer, Darren Star, takes fabulous up a notch with his newest series Emily in Paris.

Premiering on Netflix back on Oct. 2, 2020, Emily in Paris took viewers by storm with top-tier fashion and, dare I say, drama.

Chicago marketing genius and executive, Emily Cooper (Lily Collins), is dispatched to a small and luxury firm, Savior, in Paris, France. All due to her boss, Madeline Wheeler’s (Kate Walsh) surprise pregnancy. Unfortunately, Emily is thrown into the life of a French marketing agent while being illiterate in the language. Not to mention her uptight french boss, Sylvie Grateau (Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu), is not too fond of her “fake it till you make it” personality. However, Emily quickly learns how to acclimate to the culture through love, friendship, fashion, affairs, and heartbreak.

Throughout the duration of the show, Paris, the capital of fashion, is marketed through each character’s individual wardrobe. Not to mention, Emily has never been seen wearing the same outfit twice.

Emily in Paris is a perfect series to inspire and assist viewers in personal fashion choices.

The music, fashion, and setting of the romantic comedy really bring out the culture of modern-day Paris through the viewer’s perspective.

Throughout the series, social media plays a huge role in Emily’s work life. Starting out with 58 followers on Instagram, her account (@emilyinparis) instantly gained popularity after her first few posts in the city.

The television series was nominated for an Emmy back in 2021 for outstanding comedy and production design for a narrative program.

The comedy-drama also received a 65% on Rotten Tomatoes and a 6.9/10 on IMDb.

Nonetheless, the series will live up to expectations through countless love interests and endless arcs of drama and scandal.

Season two of Emily in Paris recently arrived on Dec. 22, 2021, and has obtained the 10th spot in Netflix’s Top 10.

Each season contains 10 episodes which usually run for about half an hour. It is indeed a binge-worthy show for everyone to enjoy.

According to Variety, Emily in Paris has been renewed for a season three and four.

To join Emily on her countless adventures, you can experience the drama and the love on entertainment apps such as Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Youtube, and Google Play Movies & TV.

As the French say, au revoir!
