“It Ends with Us” by Colleen Hoover has taken the world by storm with its amazing plot that makes readers swoon, cry, jump with glee, and question life.

The main character is Lily Bloom – a redheaded fireball who owns a flower shop for people who hate flowers. Ryle Kincaid is a stubborn, arrogant, assertive neurosurgeon who has a soft spot for the one and only Lily Bloom. What could go wrong? 

Lily Bloom had a difficult and traumatic childhood. Nonetheless, she always strived for a good life and for a man nothing like her father, so when the opportunity to start her dream flower shop opened she took it.  Upon meeting Ryle, his complete hatred of relationships alarmed her, but she slowly finds herself being the exception to his rule of “no dating”.

This is by far one of, if not the best book I have ever read. With constant plot twists and turns, there is never a dull moment in this epic page turner. I learned life lessons as well as a new defined perspective on some uncomfortable, controversial matters that everyone should be aware of. Do I recommend this book? Absolutely! It is one that will enlighten you, entice you, and give the reader a point of view they may have never experienced before.
