Tonight the Lady Wolverines take on Newman Smith at Newman Smith at 6 p.m. In the last matchup between these two teams on March 8, 2024, Wakeland beat them 20-0.
With a great win over district rival Reedy on March 28, 2024, the Lady Wolverines extended their home winning streak to 16. Their last loss was on March 11, 2024, when Lone Star defeated them 7-6. They are currently on a five game winning streak – and by big scores.

The team has been training very hard to continue their winning streak and make it to the playoffs for the second year in a row.
“We are starting to move up in the rankings and we are hoping to make playoffs this season,” junior Natalie McCaghren said.
