Volleyball starts 2024 season strong

Wakeland vs. Panther Creek on Sept. 10, 2024.

Wakeland’s varsity volleyball team kicked off the season strong and they are currently ranked 1st in district and 9th in the state with an 18-5 record.

After Tuesday night’s win over The Colony in three consecutive sets, they travel to Newman Smith on Friday and play at 5:30 p.m.

Currently undefeated in the month of September, they are also on a 13 game winning streak at home, so they need fans to come support them on Friday.

Hi! My name is Ben. I'm a junior at Wakeland, and this is my second year working for the yearbook. In my free time, I enjoy writing, lifting, martial arts, and listening to music.
