Wolverine Basketball Defeats Reedy

Wakeland Wolverines extended their winning streak to six games by defeating rival Reedy Lions 65-56 in a district matchup Friday night.

The Wolverines dominated from the opening tip, maintaining control throughout all four quarters at Wakeland High School’s home court.

The win keeps Wakeland on top of the District 9-5A standings heading into the next showdown with Lone Star on Jan. 31.

The next Wakeland Boys Varsity Basketball game is on Friday, January 17 at 7:15 against The Colony at The Colony High School. Watch live on NFHS Network.
