Eat More Chicken at Wakeland! Chick-fil-A has decided to partner up with Wakeland to sell nutritious slider sandwiches every Tuesday and Thursday. This new sandwich consists of: A classic Chick-fil-A chicken strip doused in special seasonings, hand-breaded and pressure cooked to the T in 100% refined peanut oil, and held together in a small wheat bun. With a $3 fee, plus tax, there are various forms of payments for this new sandwich including: Apple Pay, credit/debit cards, and cash. Student meal accounts cannot be utilized in regards to the slider and neither can the Chick-fil-A app or any gift cards. If students are eligible for free or reduced meals, it will not apply to this as well. Ryan Hepler said, ¨Personally I love the Chick-Fil-A sliders. They taste just like the real thing and I never pass up the opportunity to get one when I’m in the Cafeteria.¨ If you’re not a fan of these new sandwiches or just not feeling them a certain day, no worries! There will still continue to be countless other options to indulge yourself in at this campus cafe per usual.
