Cupid’s favorite day of the year, Valentine’s Day, is right around the corner. Whether you have a significant other or a group of friends and family to celebrate the day with, it is sure to be filled with love and good memories. Valentine’s Day is all about expressing your love for one another, and a great way to express your love is giving thoughtful gifts.
With many left wondering what to get for their loved ones, we asked Wakeland students what kind of gifts they wanted to receive from their significant others, friends, and family.
“I love receiving flowers. They are my favorite thing in the whole wide world,” junior Hope Snedaker said.
“I would like my girlfriend to make me something because she is artsy,” senior Jackson Hogan said.
“I like handwritten notes because it shows that he cares and something sweet like chocolate,” junior Kyrsten Stengle said.
“I like letters and anything that is short but means a lot,” senior Allie Johnson said.
We also asked Wakeland students what they planned to give their significant other and friends on the special holiday.
“I am getting my girlfriend a custom jelly cat along with candy and flowers,” sophomore Evan Steinhauser said.
“I am giving him something that he really wants and will use every single day,” junior Brooke Lynd said.
With the students’ opinions in mind, any thoughtful gift, no matter how big or small, will be appreciated.
