Dogs and cats all over the world are looking for a place to call home. Next time you’re looking at getting a pet, why not try adopting?
The Little Elm Animal Shelter is a shelter that believes in professional and ethical performance and has a customer-driven approach to animal services.
This is Coyote. He is a shepherd mix, male, adult medium, house-trained, spayed/neutered, and good with other dogs. Coyote, or “Yote” for short, has been in the shelter for over 445 days and two not so merry Christmases.
“He was an owner surrender when he was very young”, said Tamara Cervi, the shelter’s supervisor. “The owners surrendered him due to not having enough time to dedicate to him, and unfortunately he hasn’t gotten a lot of interest”.
Staff and volunteers at the shelter say they love his playful energy and how much he loves his squeaky toys. The shelter’s volunteers say he enjoys cuddles and attention and loves a good belly rub. He is housetrained but might need a refresher when coming home. Coyote is $75, (along with all the animals at the shelter) which includes spay/neuter, microchip, and all vaccines.
