Frisco ISD has announced the new school calendar for the 2022-2023 school year.
Mark Your Calendars! – Frisco ISD has approved the calendar for 2022-2023 school year, with quite a few changes to holidays and breaks.
Frisco ISD has approved the new calendar for the 2022-2023 school year.
The school year will begin on Aug. 10, 2022 and end on May 19, 2023.
There will be staff development days on Sept. 2, Oct. 7, Nov. 21, Jan. 9, and Feb. 17.
There will be bad weather makeup days on Apr. 10 and 28.
Other days off will be on Sept. 5, Jan. 16, Feb. 20, and Apr. 7 for other holidays.
There will be a scheduled Fall Break from Oct. 7-10.
Thanksgiving Break will be from Nov. 22-25.
Christmas Break is scheduled to fall on Dec. 23 to Jan. 3. This leaves starting the break closer to the holidays.
The calendar was approved by the board of trustees at the Dec. 13 meeting.
While days off have changed, school hours will remain the same throughout the 2022-2023 school year.

with a large % of kids in divorced families, obviously the board did not take into account the standard custody outline that transitions visitation on 12/28. where the standard break, of all other districts too including plano, allen, mckinney gets out the 19th – the kids get to spend 11 days with their other parent, you just cut that down to 5 days.
