The Golden Globes were held last weekend in Beverly Hills, California. This is a yearly event holds rewards for actors and their movies with many categories spending from best drama to best picture. Bohemian Rhapsody a highly praised film based on the origin of the well-known band took the title of best picture award. The best animated movie goes to Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, a critically acclaimed animated film on the popular and beloved character Spider-Man. Rami Malek who starred in Bohemian Rhapsody took the title of best actor in a drama motion picture when he transformed into Freddie Mercury. Also in the same category, Glenn Close, an American actress, won that shiny golden Globe for best actress in The Wife. Mahershala Ali is an American actor who most recently starred in The Green Book, got the Globe for best supporting actor in his role in this drama motion picture. The best supporting actress award ended up going to Regina King, who gained attention in If Beale Street Could Talk and ultimately put her in the running for the award.
