Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s relationship has a lot of supporters, but more than plenty of haters.

“The amount of attention she gets is ruining watching football [and] she is annoying,” sophomore Annie Asel said.

Fans are getting irritated with the coverage Swift is getting. While the NFL is gaining more viewership from fan attendance and broadcast viewership, most football fans are outraged by the “immense” coverage of Taylor DURING games and on the NFL’s social media. Recently, an article revealed the total screen time per game of Swift is 20-24 seconds and has a max of 40 seconds on air per game.

“I think it’s a publicity stunt. She’s not annoying, but she is over shown.”

There is no denying that Swift is popular, but the coverage on the NFL’s social media platforms is overwhelming.

Swift and Kelce’s relationship has been a great economic advantage for the Kansas City Chiefs. According to a newsweek.com article, the Chiefs have made around 331.5 million dollars since the duo started dating. Rumor is the Kansas City Chiefs are even thinking about giving her a Super Bowl ring.

“I don’t think she is ruining watching the sport. She isn’t over shown, or annoying to see. But she does NOT deserve to be gifted a Super Bowl ring if the Chiefs win,” Coach Thompson said.
