BOO! Bags Made Their Way Through Wakeland

The Make A Wish Foundation is Selling 3$ Candy Bags to benefit Kids in Need

This year the Make a Wish foundation has introduced Boo Bags. They are bags full of candy for a low price and a good cause.

Boo bags were only three dollars for seven pieces of candy. President, Caitlyn Rathbone stated that “boo bags are a bag of candy delivered on Halloween to make it more fun for all the students and all the money goes to our Make A Wish foundation. None of the money goes to the club. We are a non-profitable club,[and] we don’t get any money towards us. We forward it all to the foundation which helps kids in need. The foundation sold about 120 bags. They received $130 in donations, and in total, they were able to make $580 to grant wishes for kids with terminal diseases.

The Make a Wish foundation hopes to continue their efforts in raising awareness for the kids in need. They want to make each fundraiser fun and inform people about the causes they support. Make a Wish members thank the community for a successful fundraiser and intends to continue helping kids in need in the coming months.
