Tryouts for Legacy Line Are Quickly Approaching

The Wakeland Legacy Line is well-known for always bringing their fresh and complex choreography to every pep rally and game here at Wakeland. With their constant support for our school, it will be hard to say goodbye to the beloved seniors of the Legacy Line. But as graduation quickly approaches, the future of the Legacy Line’s new recruits has already begun!

Although the actually tryouts are on Thursday, April 18th at 4:30 PM in  room G103 and the tryout clinic starts three days prior to that on the 15th through the 17th from 4:30 to 6:30, a mandatory parent/candidate meeting was held in the Wakeland cafeteria this past Thursday, February 21st. This event which was lead by our Wakeland dance teacher and Legacy Line director, Shanna Grubb, and the current members of the Legacy Line provided all who were present with the information regarding the Legacy Line Drill Team and the dance classes offered at Wakeland.

Unfortunately, those who were not present at this meeting are now not eligible to tryout for the team. However, on a positive note, those who were will now be capable to tryout in hopes of becoming a part of the 2019-2020 members of Wakeland Legacy Line!
