Ty Myers fans filled up Billy Bob’s Texas on Friday night, March 21, to watch Ty Myers perform. He played songs from his debut album, The Select, having fans singing all night.
“This was the best concert I’ve been to in a long time,” said Caelan Chen, a student from Wakeland High School. “Ty Myers is such a good performer, and he really knows how to get the crowd excited. Everyone was singing along the whole time.”
The concert doors opened at 6 p.m., and the night started with Dixie Rex performing at 8 p.m. Fans could not wait to see Ty as he took the stage at 10pm.
He played all the fan favorites, including “Drinkin’ Alone,” “Tie That Binds,” and some new songs from The Select.
“The amount of people in Billy Bob’s was insane,” said Keegan Ashton, a huge fan of Myers and Wakeland student. “Hearing ‘Drinkin Alone’ live was amazing. Listening to a song off my phone is alright, but hearing it live was the best thing ever.”
Billy Bob’s Texas, located at 2520 Rodeo Plaza in Fort Worth, is known for hosting some of the best country artists ever.
Tickets for the event ranged from $18 for general admission to $28 for PIT standing areas. Attendees had to be 18 or older with a valid ID. The concert not only showed off Myers’ talent but also proved why Billy Bob’s is a must-visit spot for country music fans.
