‎Friday and Saturday Wakeland VASE students were in San Marcos doe the state competition There were roughly 2,000 pieces at state this year, and about 160 pieces received the highest honor of Gold Seal. Those pieces will travel the state for the next year in an exhibit!

Emily Yin – Gold Seal Winner! (2nd Year in a row!)
Samson Crest – 2 State Medals (2 Pieces) + won a 3D workshop scholarship!
Chloe Han – State Medal
Gavin Rushing – State Medal

Cooper Farr has a painting that was selected to be in the John Paul II DFW ART Competition, and the exhibit will be on view Monday, April 27-Sunday May 3. Join us for awards and closing reception next Sunday May 3 from 2-3:30pm at their campus. He is still in the running to find out if he is a top winner – we will know on the 3rd!
