Frisco ISD swim and dive recently competed at the UIL State Championships this month. Our very own Wakeland senior, Jackson Armour, was named the 5A Swimmer of the Meet. Armour not only won, he also set meet records in the 200-yard individual medley and the 100-yard breaststroke. The Wakeland boys team ended up finishing 3rd overall in the 5A category. Congratulations Wakeland Swim!

Hi, I’m Chloe Ruch! I’m a senior, and this is my second year in journalism. I enjoy writing about new trends, reviews, and Wakeland news. I am also a member of the National Charity League class of 2025. In my free time I like to hang out with my friends and try new things. I’m most likely going to be attending the University of Arkansas and maybe majoring in nursing.
