Be Prepared! You’re in for a Scare
Spooky season is here. Many people enjoy hosting parties and participating in fun activities to bring in the Halloween spirit, and one of the most popular activities during October is going to haunted houses.
Cutting Edge Haunted House is a haunted attraction in Fort Worth. It is located in an old, abandoned meat packing plant circa 1908 and is one of the scariest haunted houses. It has live actors and intense special effects.
This haunted house is sure to give you the scare of a lifetime.
Many students at Wakeland decided to give Cutting-Edge a try for the first time this season.
“It was very fun and a good experience [to have] with my friends,” junior Braelyn Smorynski said.
Before entering the haunted house, participants are required to fill out a waiver due to actors jumping out at people and/or jumping out at people with items…like chainsaws.
“It was definitely super fun. They were pretty safe with Corona and all, and we still got to have a good time,” junior Drew Stover said.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, employees and attendees have to follow health and safety precautions, along with social distancing protocols. People attending Cutting Edge will have their temperature checked and will be required to wear a face mask at all times.
“[Because of the pandemic], they had to cut the time in the haunted house and made us take in the safety precautions for COVID,” junior Sydney Deckert said.
If you’re looking for a fun Halloween experience that will give you a good scare, Cutting Edge is the place for you.
