As spring blooms in Frisco, so do opportunities to give back to the community. Local students and residents are stepping up to volunteer at events across the city, from Easter egg hunts to community service projects.
“I love volunteering—it’s such a great way to foster communities and have an impact on the people around me,” said Jeremiah Servin-Farnham, a former volunteer at the 2025 Especially Needed Easter Egg Hunt. The organization, Especially Needed, focuses on supporting individuals with special needs and their families.
Volunteering not only benefits the community but also helps students grow personally. “Volunteering around Frisco isn’t only fun, but it helps you, too,” said freshman Nickolas Hoss. “I love volunteering, especially for Easter—there’s always something for me.”
Many students agree that lending a hand is one of the best ways to get involved. “There’s tons of stuff to do,” said sophomore Charlotte Hagen. “If anyone is ever bored at home or needs a quick way to get some service hours, the best thing to do is volunteer—no matter for what.”
Those interested in participating can find volunteer opportunities on the City of Frisco’s official website. It’s a simple way to get connected and make a positive difference in the community.
