This week from March 24-25, both Wakeland girl and boy soccer teams are competing in the UIL soccer playoffs. The regional semifinals are March 27-29, followed by the regional finals March 31-April 1, and the state tournament April 3-12. Last year the girls varsity team won state, and the boys finishing in second. Although the teams have talent and experience, they will be competing against a whopping 15 FISD soccer teams competing in playoffs this week, setting up for an intense competition.
