Excitement is already building for the 2026–27 football season, as new schedules and event dates have been released for games, homecoming, and pep rallies. The Wolverines will kick off district play Aug. 20, with games running through Nov. 5.
“We’re really looking forward to the challenge this season,” said head coach Chandler Isom. “Moving up to 6A gives us a chance to grow and compete against new opponents.”
The homecoming game is set for Sept. 10 against Rowlett High School at Kuykendall Stadium, with the homecoming dance taking place Sept. 12. Pep rallies are planned for Aug. 27, Sept. 10, Oct. 2, and Oct. 30. Highlight games include Pink Out on Oct. 2 against Lewisville and Senior Night on Oct. 30 against Braswell.
“I’m excited to see them play against new teams,” said sophomore Chloe Kang. “I love going to the games with my friends and getting to go to new places is going to be fun.”
