Wakeland Softball, Baseball Advance to Playoffs After Strong Seasons

Wakeland softball and baseball teams are heading into the postseason after strong regular seasons.

The softball team secured its playoff spot Friday with a 12-1 win against Turner, closing out the regular season on a dominant note.

Baseball will finish its regular season this week with games against The Colony on April 21 and April 24. Junior varsity and varsity teams will play at home Tuesday while JV2 travels to The Colony. On Friday, JV and varsity will play on the road, while JV2 returns home.

Fans are encouraged to support Wakeland athletes as both teams enter playoff competition. Tickets are available through the HomeTown ticketing app.

Hi! My name is Nanami Sawabe and I am a sophomore at Wakeland High school. This is my first year in yearbook and writing for Wakeland Access.
