Sweetwaters Cafe is a refreshing coffee and tea shop that recently opened on Oct. 18, 2020, and this new cafe is worth the experience!

From thai tea to pretzel sandwiches, Sweetwaters Cafe provides many options on the menu. They offer different types of coffees, teas, desserts, pastries, and also include seasonal drinks.

“For Christmas, we have the Candy Cane Cocoa. It’s kind of like a hot cocoa, but with peppermint instead. Everything has candy cane sprinkles so it’s really nice,” employee Kaycee Colcleasure said. 

More seasonal drinks are the Let it Snow Latte and the Peppy Bar Mocha. The Let it Snow Latte is a vanilla latte with a hint of peppermint.

Have no idea what to order? Don’t panic – the staff has you covered. Working members of the cafe have many recommendations on ways to treat yourself.

“[I would recommend the] Napali Brew. It’s made out of ice cream and everybody loves ice cream. That one’s super good,” Colcleasure said. 

“A chai latte [is also really good],” employee Ellie Fullerton said. 

The Sweetwaters Cafe has a fun working environment that helps bring customers in. 

“We have a lot of fun. I mean, we do our job but we have a lot of fun back here,” Colcleasure said. 

“It’s a very easy job,” Fullerton said.
