On December 6th, 2025, the legacies are hosting a spectacular winter show. Every year, Legacy Line puts on a performance that highlights their hard work, creativity, and talent that they have perfected over the months.
Celebrating the holiday festivities, the winter show promises new choreography, festive themes, and unforgettable moments that will leave the audience in awe. It ensures a performance comprising numerous pieces that spread holiday cheer this season. The show is inspired by the cheer of the winter season, and all dancers are excited to spread the joy that comes with it.
“I love seeing all the field routines with the Christmas music,” junior dancer Ella Chadwell said. “It’s one of my favorite performances because it brings everyone together to celebrate the season and all the work we’ve done.”
Putting together a show as complicated as this isn’t easy work. There are many components and behind-the-scenes work that require communication and teamwork to accomplish. “It takes a lot of coordination, from lighting to costumes to timing every move perfectly,” Chadwell said. “It’s all worth it in the end to see the entire performance come to life.”
The show will feature multiple dance performances, including solos, squad dances, team dances, and showcases from Wakeland’s color guard and choir. It also places a special emphasis on Legacy Line seniors, as this is one of their last opportunities to showcase their skills before graduating in the spring.
The Legacy Line’s annual Winter Showcase will take place on Saturday, December 6th at 7 p.m. in the Wakeland High School gym. Tickets can be purchased online for $11 at whslegacyline.com. Don’t miss this performance!
