Seniors at Wakeland High School have several events to choose from as graduation approaches. One of them is a trip to Six Flags, a separate Wakeland-led event scheduled for April 24, 2026. Seniors will ride the bus to the amusement park for the day.
“My favorite ride at Six Flags is the Texas Titan because it’s tall and spins,” senior Lily Willis said.
The Texas Titan is just one of the many rides at Six Flags. The park features more than 100 rides and 15 roller coasters for visitors to enjoy.
“I’m excited for Six Flags because I get to skip school, and it will be a fun senior memory to have,” senior Audra Cartwright said.
Seniors can choose to take the early bus which leaves at 3 PM or the late bus which leaves when the park closes.
This year’s trip gives students a chance to make memories with friends and enjoy a fun-filled day at the park. As the school year winds down, the Six Flags trip serves as one last celebration before seniors’ final hurrah at graduation.
After four years of hard work, seniors can enjoy a carefree day of excitement and laughter on one of their last days at Wakeland High School
