The end of the school year is often the most crucial time for students, with STAAR tests, final exams and, most importantly, AP Exams. The College Board has released the schedule for the 2026 AP Exams, which will take place over two weeks in May.
The first week runs from May 4–8. Morning exams begin at 8 a.m., with Biology and Latin on Monday; Chemistry and Human Geography on Tuesday; English Literature and Composition on Wednesday; Physics 2: Algebra-Based and World History: Modern on Thursday; and Italian Language and Culture and U.S. History on Friday. Afternoon exams at 12 p.m. include European History and Microeconomics on Monday; U.S. Government and Politics on Tuesday; Comparative Government and Politics and Physics 1: Algebra-Based on Wednesday; African American Studies and Statistics on Thursday; and Chinese Language and Culture and Macroeconomics on Friday.
The second week runs from May 11–15. Morning exams at 8 a.m. include Calculus AB and Calculus BC on Monday; French Language and Culture and Precalculus on Tuesday; English Language and Composition and German Language and Culture on Wednesday; Art History and Spanish Language and Culture on Thursday; and Environmental Science on Friday. Afternoon exams at 12 p.m. include Music Theory and Seminar on Monday; Japanese Language and Culture and Psychology on Tuesday; Physics C: Mechanics and Spanish Literature and Culture on Wednesday; Computer Science Principles and Physics C: Electricity and Magnetism on Thursday; and Computer Science A on Friday.
Students are encouraged to prepare ahead of time by getting plenty of rest, eating a full breakfast and confirming their AP Exam dates.
