When pursuing a fulfilling education, the ability to explore your creativity and passions is vital. We interviewed Architecture student Lucas Trang and Education & Training teacher Nicky Fryman to share their involvement with internships and classes at CTE. The CTE, Career and Technical Education Center, enables students to prosper with open learning opportunities, preparing them for the real world in a professional setting.
“Not only can you get experience before you even graduate high school, but you can establish connections with those people in your internships so that maybe they are willing to hire you after you graduate college.” — Architecture Intern Lucas Trang
Additionally, students are assessed on whether or not they can face the rigorous coursework given at the CTE center. This further displays how the CTE center courses will enrich students on the professional level.
“Those things, those strategies those concepts will help them be successful in their internship. If they can’t remember anything, then if they score low enough they won’t be able to get in.” – Nicky Fryman, Education & Training Teacher.
